They were gorgeous and cheap too! I ended up buying one near the very end of my trip and after I bought it I was like "How the Hell is it going to fit in my backpack?" It wasn't one of my most brilliant ideas (like buying my brother a cone hat) but I did manage to bring it home in one piece.

Swine flu?! Why would they thin that? But I get it, my mom was really worried last weekend, 'cause a friend of mine who lives in California came to visit her family in my hometown, and since it's only 2 hours from where I'm iving right now, she came to spend the day with me. I hadn't seen her in over 2 years, she normally comes about every 5 years, so it was quite a surprise. Anyway, my mom heard that she was coming so she almost freakeed out about taking good care of our health, but she calmed down when we told her she had already been 2 weeks in the country before she came up North, so if she had thee flu she'd have shown symptoms already. We're all fie and healthy

I really don't know what makes it so dangerous, but I guess it's easy to give in to massive panic, herd mentality and all that...

I've no idea either. There was another article in the paper today claiming that it's almost going to be declared a pandemic. I should really research some more into this to figure out why it's causing so much panic.
