Beautiful shot! I love the way the petals stand out against the blue background! :D I dunno why really, but I LOVE this picture! <3

Thank-you so much! This was actually more of an experimental shot since it was the first time I shot only a section of the flower instead of the entire thing. I'm quite proud with how it came out. :)

I really like the vivid colors in this. My only issue is that I think I'd like to see more of the petals in focus...

 I wish more of them were focused too. I'll have to get more flowers to try and get a better shot at some point.

Smaller aperture (Larger f stop/number) should do the trick.

I like how it looks blurred at the top, but as it gets to the bottom, the petals become more sharp and clear. And the color is so vibrant! :D

Very pretty. ^_^

Thank-you. ^-^

The top blur wasn't my initial goal I was trying to get the entire thing but quickly learned that a macro lens has a very little depth of field.

I do love the colors too.

Beautiful saturation! Although because of the lack of a real focal point it becomes almost abstract.

Love the delicate balance of the shot, the color scheme is simple and really helps to make this such a powerful image.

I do wish just a little more of the tips were focused, not the whole thing, but just a little more for some extra details and a clearer separation between foreground and background. :)

Thank-you so much for your kind words!

Yeah, I was unhappy at first with the focus but the range was so small so I settled on this. Thank-you so much for your critic, it's nice to hear some advice.

I like it! Excellent colors and composition, I like how it's just the tips of the petals and not the entire flower.
