Artist's Comments

An older image I found on my desktop today.
It was originally taken in RAW format and converted to JPG.
I have no idea what kind of flower this is. :XD:

Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lens: Macro EF-S 60mm

Critiques

:iconmouyra:
This is a very beautiful piece, the colors are vibrant and the composition truly catches the eye. My only concern about how the piece is would be the top half of the petals in the image. While the bottom half has all of the petals pushed into the background with a bit of fading, the petals on the top half are too focused and are fighting the center of the flower for image dominance. It is slightly distracting. But honestly, other than that, there is nothing I can really see otherwise that you might want to consider changing. Once again, beautiful piece. :)

It's a really beautiful flower. I like how vibrant yet soft the color of the petals look. I also like where the sharpest focus is. It gives the flower more depth. I also like how on a few of the petals you can see a little bit of fuzz. That made me smile for some reason. But what is the brown line in the background behind the upper left petal? That throws me off a little. Maybe I'm just being picky.

Thank-you so you much!
I believe it's another flower in the background. I'll see what I can do to fix that. Thanks. :)

Do you think it looks better or does it just look fake now?
